Frequently Asked Questions

About This Tour

This is a private return transfer between Central London and Warner Bros. Studio Tour London - The Making of Harry Potter at Leavesden, near Watford. A MisterFare driver collects you from your address or hotel, drops you at the Studio Tour and brings you back to London after your visit.

Studio Tour tickets are not included and are not sold by MisterFare. Warner Bros. sells all admission in advance with a date and entry time, and there are no tickets for sale on the day. Book your tickets on the official Studio Tour website first, then send MisterFare a booking request with your entry time so the pickup can be planned around it.

Leavesden is around 30 km from Central London. The drive usually takes 45 to 75 minutes and can take longer at peak times on the A41, M1 or M25. Warner Bros. asks visitors to arrive about 20 minutes before their ticketed time, and entry is possible at any point during a 30-minute window. The pickup time is set to allow for this.

The Studio Tour says the average visit lasts about three and a half hours, with no time limit inside. Including both drives, plan on around five and a half to six and a half hours in total. The driver can wait during your visit or return at an agreed collection time; the Studio Tour has a drop-off and pick-up point at the site.

A private car avoids the train to Watford Junction and the shuttle bus, which suits families with young children, luggage or pushchairs. The driver is a chauffeur, not a guide, and does not enter the Studio Tour with you.

Approximate plan for the day

  • Pickup in Central London — Driver collects the party from the agreed address or hotel.
  • Warner Bros. Studio Tour London, Leavesden — Drop-off at the Studio Tour drop-off point; security check and entry within your 30-minute window.
  • Collection and return to London — Collection at the agreed time and drive back to the pickup address.

Timings are agreed with you when the booking is confirmed and depend on traffic and your chosen ticket times.
